Our small privately run hotel nestles amongst its own ten acre hill top estate of park and woodland with breathtaking panoramic views across the surrounding countryside with an enviable heritage being formerly the home of the American Millionaire John Paul Getty 1st and more recently the Queen of Yugoslavia. It has long been the haunt of the rich and famous with an impressive list of celebrity visitors portrayed on the walls around the hotel.

Situated just outside the pretty market town of Frodsham we are conveniently situated just 5 mins from the main North West motorway network and an ideal base for visiting nearby Chester, Manchester, Liverpool and North Wales.

This former Victorian Mansion has been the subject of a total refurbishment with bedrooms and bathrooms upgraded to the highest standard and all public rooms and lounges completely redecorated and refurnished. The result is a comfortable blend of the old and new, creating a relaxed and informal atmosphere. We can also offer THE COACH HOUSE - a luxurious C19th Cottage situated in the grounds for a luxurious alternative to the hotel.
